We appreciate that there is a significant amount of conflicting and even misleading information circulating at present. At The Tim Potter Travel Co, our priority is to provide you with clear, transparent, and grounded guidance regarding your travel plans.

Repatriation Successfully Completed

Following the recent regional developments, we are pleased to confirm that our repatriation efforts are complete. As of 12th March, all of our customers visiting the affected countries or facing disrupted return flights have been safely returned to the UK.

Is it currently safe to travel?

The UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) constantly reviews risks and provides real-time travel advice for all destinations worldwide. You can check the latest official updates by visiting: https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice

Restricted Destinations

Due to the conflict in Iran, several countries in the region have been assessed as ‘All but essential travel.’ This means holidays in these destinations are currently not permitted, and The Tim Potter Travel Co has paused all new bookings to:

  • The U.A.E., Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait
  • Israel, Palestine, and Lebanon
  • Affected parts of Saudi Arabia

If you have an existing holiday booked with us to any of these destinations, we will be in touch with you directly to discuss your options, including rebooking or refunds.

Flight Connection Policy

In addition, we have paused making new flight reservations involving airlines that require a connection in this region, even if your final destination is not restricted. This includes all flights operated by:

  • Emirates
  • Qatar Airways
  • Etihad

The world is a big place and it is still waiting to be explored. While we are taking these necessary precautions in the Middle East, the majority of global destinations remain safe for travelers and are completely unaffected by the recent conflict.
